HBLF Financial Summit, Extraordinary Financial Summit

The Extraordinary Financial Summit organized by the Hungarian Business Leaders Forum was held in Budapest on 28 September 2018. The HBLF’s Financial Summit series have been started in 2005 with the goal to create a forum and partnership for the government, business and civil society to promote positive macroeconomic trends and urge for structural reforms. It brings together acknowledged international and local experts, Hungarian and international enterprises and their leaders and the academia to discuss the sustainability of the Hungarian economy. This year’s conference focused on the current financial and technological challenges, innovation and the Blockchain technology. More than a hundred participants were present on the Summit, which was opened by Mr. László Palkovics, Minister for Innovation and Technology of Hungary.

Dr. Zoltán Cséfalvay, Ambassador of Hungary to the OECD and UNESCO participated in the Ambassadors’ Roundtable with H.E. Volkmar Karl Wenzel, H.E. Isabelle Poupart and H.E. René van Hell, Ambassadors of Germany, Canada and the Netherlands in Hungary, where they discussed the good practices of innovation in their respective countries.
