ITF Transport Outlook 2017

The newest edition of International Transport Forum’s flagship publication is to be launched today. The launch of the Outlook will be broadcast live at this link on Monday, 30 January at 15:30 CET.

Main policy, economic and technological changes since the 2015 edition, along with other international developments such as the establishment of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, are shaping considerably the future of mobility.

Transport Outlook 2017 provides projections for future transport demand and CO2 emissions and an analysis of trends in transport at a global level. It specifically looks at accessibility in cities highlighting the role of policies in creating sustainable transport systems which provide equal access to all.

The International Transport Forum at the OECD is an intergovernmental organisation with 57 member countries. It acts as a think tank for transport policy in order to foster a deeper understanding of the role of transport in economic growth, environmental sustainability and social inclusion and to raise the public profile of transport policy. ITF is the only global body that covers all transport modes.
